Coronavirus Update

02nd December 2020

Dear All,

We are writing to you in regards to the current situation and Upper Court’s policy in relation to COVID-19.

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone and Coronavirus has affected so many industries including Leisure and Hospitality. We are continuing to follow the ever changing guidelines to ensure all guests and staff are safe.

Your welfare is our number 1 priority.

We are located in a Tier-2 area. This means we cannot allow bookings where more than 1 household/bubble is present. For larger groups you can of course book more than one cottage to ensure social distancing, however you MUST NOT socialise indoors together. You CAN socialise outdoors, providing you do not exceed the rule of 6

Additional cleaning measures are in place to ensure all cottages and shared facilities are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between stays/use.

We have provided anti-bacterial hand soap at every sink and hand sanitiser is available in every cottage.

All of our facilities including the tennis court, swimming pool and games area have a timetable system in place to ensure guests are not socialising outside government guidelines and to allow time for cleaning in between use.

We are operating a contact free check-in service. Details of this will be sent to guests ahead of arrival along with your welcome documents.

Staff will wear masks and socially distance when assisting guests during your stay.

Guests are encouraged to wash hands frequently, particularly before and after use of Upper Court facilities and when entering your cottage. We also encourage guests to notify us if you see anyone not complying with social distancing rules.

If you place a booking with us and a stricter lockdown/tier is then enforced upon Upper Court/Cotswolds, we will gladly move your booking to an alternative date. Do check our Terms and Conditions for full details.

We encourage all guests to get adequate travel insurance ahead of any stay.

We will continue to update this page as the situation progresses.

Thank you for your patience and understanding at this unprecedented and challenging time .

Best wishes
The Herford family and
all at Upper Court
