The Coach House is a luxury self catering holiday cottage suitable for an extended family or group holiday in the Cotswolds.

The Coach House is the main building in the courtyard. It was, as its name suggests, the original coach house for the estate, and housed the carriages downstairs with accommodation for the coachman and his family upstairs. Built in the early 1700s, it is has been converted to create ideal self catering holiday accommodation for up to eleven guests.

Accommodation

• Downstairs, the former carriage room now forms a massive space measuring an impressive 30 ft x 18 ft. Named the Gallery, this provides an open-plan lounge / dining room, furnished with a sofa and chairs, a gas flame stove in the fireplace, modern oil paintings and etchings, and two long refectory tables seating up to 24 guests. Its large windows and high ceilings make this a perfect room for parties and entertaining.

• The kitchen has French windows opening into the courtyard, solid pine units with a Belfast sink, and a laundry area at one end. It is well equipped with all the usual appliances, including a large Bosch fridge freezer.
• Facing the tennis court, the entrance area provides a patio with table and chairs for eating out.
• Upstairs, there are original oak beams in all of the rooms. The bedrooms are furnished with antique pine or oak and feature many interesting antique prints.
• The master bedroom has a romantic four-poster bed (4 ft 6 in) and an en-suite shower room.
• The second bedroom has twin beds, and is next to the family bathroom.
• The third bedroom has a double bed (4 ft 6 in) and overlooks the courtyard.
• The fourth bedroom is a triple, with a 5 ft double bed and a 3 ft single bed. It has a sofa and an extra television.
• The fifth bedroom interconnects with the fourth bedroom. It has a small 4 ft double bed and connects with a good sized shower room.
• The facilities include three bath / shower rooms and a cloakroom, one of which is on the ground floor.
• An even larger group can be accommodated by booking the Coach House with the Stables next door, in which case the Gallery provides an ideal space for socialising and dining.
