Wedding Hire Charges

Church Weddings and Civil Weddings:

For a weekend wedding, all cottage accommodation (except Watermill) must be taken.  For midweek weddings, accommodation available per night or you can have wedding without any accommodation.    

There are 3 or 4 more rooms in the Manor.  If you would like to book these, depending on availability (because of our family), the rate is £110.00 without breakfast or £130.00 with breakfast.

If your guests have booked accommodation, cottage guests are welcome to arrive from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and leave by 10.00am on day of departure.  The Manor has a license for 60 people to get married in the hall.  For small numbers the drawing room is available.  If you wish to use the Manor for civil ceremony but do not want a marquee, the charge is £250.00. 

Marquee by the lake for the wedding breakfast and reception.             From £3,500.00

Wooden floor required throughout the marquee and our approved contractor is Mudways.

Wedding Breakfast – refer to sample menus, wine list on request

Wedding Venue Fee Includes:

• Use of Upper Court gardens and grounds for wedding and photography

• No corkage if you bring your own wine

• Mini skip for bottles and caterers

• Water, electricity and outside lighting

• Parking

• Hardcore road for contractors

If you would like to use the marquee and grounds on the Sunday the charge is £1,250 if it is available.  Any use of the marquee the week after the wedding for charity or local functions is at the discretion of Upper Court.
